The Plank

One of the famous move in BodyPump and Body Step classes during the conditioning tracks for abs exercise. I knew it works the core muscles thorough and well, but well, didn’t expect so many other muscles to be involved. A perfect plank is one where the body is perfectly parallel to the floor. The butt must not be raised. The angle at the elbows is a 90 degrees. For those who has never tried this, it ain’t as easy as it looks. =) Never disliked it before, but has always remained neutral over this. Opting more for the bicycle crunch and sit-ups to workout the abs. But now, am gonna start appreciating this move more. Heh. Ou, as well as the side plank. =)
