It was raining that night, kinda making the floors wet and messy. Mum and I was kinda too tired to drive around and look for dinner. We were near this place, and decided to just have our dinner here. Easier. Haven’t eaten here in months. It’s more of a tea house, but they do have simple dishes for patrons that wishes to eat.I know. It doesn’t look particularly inviting. But inside, it’s quite peacefully quiet. I actually like it. The dining area is actually at the room behind. The first portion is the cashier and places for people to have tea. Chinese tea. 😉Decorated with traditional furnitures, it gives a slight feel of going back in time, but with air-conditioned. Lol. It’s definitely not modern and posh, but it is clean, tidy and cooling, with a touch of the olden days.
We decided to get their signature dish, the ‘Steam Fish Thai Style’.5 thumbs up from me. Have always been my favourite everytime I come here. Just the right amount of sourness, enough to feel the spices, but not too much to the point of not being able to drink the soup. And they fish they serve is always fresh. What I like most, they’ll give you an extral bowl of soup so you can keep refilling when the soup in the dish above dries up. 🙂 It’s so good, it’s always a must to order this whenever I have dinner here. 😉
We also had the ‘FuYong Fried Egg’.Eggs with potatoes, small slices of meat, and a few other ingredients. Not particularly good, but not bad either. The only problem I have with this is that it is really oily, even for a fried egg/omellete. Other than that, it’s not bad. Edible. 😉 haha!
Will definitely go back for more of the ‘Steam Fish Thai Style’. Heehee!
