This is not to encourage a snobby princess attitude, but rather, to remind ourselves not to let anybody treat us any less than we deserve. We are worth whatever we think of ourselves. We are precious and special, individually. Do not let anyone walk all over you. 🙂
***Peace out, bitches!***
As adorably funny as I think this picture is, I think it carries more power and conviction than the words. And it truly makes you realize that, really, what’s most important is how you feel about yourself.
I saw Ryan Higa sharing his latest video on Facebook a couple days back. Gotta say, this is one of the best video he has ever made, if not the best. This video is not one of his typical silly-funny skits, but instead, it’s a sharing of his life’s story, in drawing. Well, he’s not really an artist, so stick figures count as drawings for him I guess. Haha! 😉 But, it is inspiring, it gives encouragements, it’s real and true and sincere, it has moral values, it’s very relatable on many different levels or ages, AND, it has his usual humour in it. Would recommend everyone to watch this at least once, if not for the inspiration and a ‘lift-me-up’ when you’re having a bad day, then just for pure entertainment sake. 😉
Steven shared this video to our church’s Facebook page. Can’t help but think this is so much fun! And so niceeeee! And pretty cool! 🙂 What an awesome way to meet new people. 😉
Would definitely give it a try if I come across one. Haha! Though I’d be a little hesitant if it’s in Malaysia. Erm, it may not be that hygienic over here. Take a look at the public parks and public toilets, then you’ll know what I mean. ;P
Of all the things I’ve heard him say, this one’s the best! And what he said? Is me. Exactly. The past year, I’ve learnt my lesson about being nice to people who aren’t necessarily nice to you. You’ll end up getting hurt, bad. So new principle? I don’t care who you are. You’re nice to me, I’ll be nice to you sincerely. And if you’re not, I won’t bother being nice to you too. 😉
The following holds true too. The older we get, the more we realize. I can prove that. Just a short 14 months and I know who are some of my true friends and who are some……… who aren’t really true. 😉
It’s s good thing I happened to come across this page on Facebook. Now everyday, I have all these ‘fitness’ stuff spamming on my wall. And seriously, I’m not complaining, one single bit. It’s definitely better than some of the nonsensical satuses some of people post on Facebook. *smirk* Not to mention, more productive, for me, that is. Lol. These ‘fitness-related’ posts keeps me motivated and keeps my will strong when I feel like giving up on my goals sometimes. Here are some of my favourites…
This is a very good reminder everytime I crave for chocolate whenever I’m feeling down. Helps me make the right choice 90% of the time. 😉
And this keeps me going when I don’t see much changes week after week. Without realizing, the weekly teeny tiny bit of changes that are negligeble, becomes not so negligeble after all after a month or two. It is depressing yes, when we see no changes, but a little bit each week, will equal quite a lot in a month or two. 🙂
Inspirational ‘fitness-phrase’. Lol. Truthfully, the journey ain’t easy. But I AM believing that one day, if I don’t give up, I’ll finish all the ‘weak’ I have in store and enjoy in the ‘strong’ that I’ve built, however painstakingly slow it is.
OMG. This? This is my ‘mantra’ phrase when I do BodyStep lately, after my long break from gym. Hell, it’s shitty when you lose all that stamina you’ve built and gotta start from almost scratch. This pushes me to finish the class without missing any tracks.
The lifestyle I’m trying to cultivate. By myself. For myself. God help me. May I succeed. 😉
